JESUS, THE PERFECT GIFT TO MANKIND

Bible Nugget 0106 [John 3: 16 – 21, KJV]

¹⁶For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 ¹⁷For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

 ¹⁸He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

 ¹⁹And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

 ²⁰For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

 ²¹But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Our God is a merciful and loving God. His desire is that everybody be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. When Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden they lost fellowship with God and became alienated from God. They also became servants to a new master, the devil who put a mark of ownership on them; sin, death and eternal separation from God for the unrepentant.  God sent his Son into the world to reconcile mankind back to God.  He gave mankind the very best gift, His only begotten Son, full of the Grace of God. Rejecting the Son of God is an eternal death sentence one places on him or herself. Believing and accepting Jesus will usher you into God’s kingdom and you become a member of the family of God. Let him into your heart and darkness will have no hiding place. Why not accept Jesus today if you have not done so already. Make him the centre point of your life to which all other things revolve and enjoy the peace he gives.

Prayer of Faith 0106

Pray the following sinner’s prayer and become a member of the family of God.

Oh Lord, I come to you in the Name of Jesus. I come without any plea of my righteousness. Cleanse me from all my sins with your precious blood.  I renounce and cut off every fellowship with darkness. Let your glorious light shine on me. Thank you Father LORD for my salvation is assured by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, your only begotten Son. Thank you LORD for making me to see the glorious light of the gospel. Shine you light perpetually on me in Jesus Name.
