COMPLETE IN CHRIST

Bible Nugget 0102 [Genesis 1:26; Colossians 2:9-10]

  9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

 10  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

There is a resemblance between God and man. That resemblance, not necessarily in facial appearance, was fully expressed in the man, Christ.

Genesis 1:26 says ” And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”.

Notice that it was God who said it. It was God who planned that man should be in image.

However, Adam, the first man, sinned and fell short of God’s glory and image, through disobedience. God sent Jesus, His Son, who is part of the Godhead to restore the image of God in man.

By accepting Jesus into your heart, daily walking with him we become more like Jesus. As we fellowship with Jesus who has all the fullness of the Godhead, God will accept us  back as adopted sons bearing His image because He sees Christ in us.

Pray this prayer of appreciation to God for creating you as a human being carrying a body, soul and spirit from the depth of your heart. Also thank him for sending Jesus into the world to die for your sins.

 “Lord I bless your Holy Name. I worship you in the beauty of your Holiness. I magnify you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for creating me in your image and likeness. Thank you for giving me the precious gift of your Holy Spirit. Thank you making me complete in Christ who is the fullness of the Godhead. You are my Father, I have the mind of Christ and you have given me the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. I will not allow sin to rob me of your glory in my life. I will attain unto the full measure of Christ in my life in Jesus Name. I stand in you complete and reject every accusation of the enemy in Jesus Name. I work out my salvation with Godly fear in Jesus Name. Amen.”
