THANKSGIVING TO A CARING GOD
Wisdom Fountain 0114 [Psalm 103 v 1-5, NKJV]
1Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s,
The goodness of God is all en-compassing touching every area of our lives. The bible instructs us to remind ourselves of all the blessings we receive from God, because the memory of man tends to be short. One needs to search into the inner man and call to remembrance every good thing we received from the Lord and as the hymn writer says “it will surprise you what the Lord has done”. Cultivate a heart of gratitude and God will do more. Let us bless God from our soul with the following prayer.
Prayer of Faith 0114
Magnify the LORD, O my soul and exalt His Holy Name for the great blessings he has done for me since my youth. For saving my soul by revealing to me the knowledge of your only begotten Son. For overcoming trials and temptations and being there for me in times of trouble. For preserving my life and restoring my health. For making me whole, body, soul and Spirit. Bless the LORD O my Soul.
